The iconic Stars Hollow 24-hour dance marathon brings drama, heartbreak, and the moment we’ve all been waiting for: Rory and Jess finally get together. After a bit of an unplanned hiatus, I'm back to Millennial Rewind, and I’m covering Gilmore Girls Season 3, Episodes 5 and 6! Lorelai tries her luck with a new man she met at an auction, which turns out to be a VERY boring date. Meanwhile, Rory keeps bumping into Jess (literally!!) and their tension is off the charts.
Over in Boston, Sherry ropes Lorelai into her baby shower, complete with weird bonding moments and way too many deviled eggs. Which, of course, end up all over Jess’s 'brand-new' car.

This week on Millennial Rewind, I’m recapping Gilmore Girls Season 3, Episodes 3 and 4. 
Move over Chad Michael Murry, Adam Brody is here and he is here to charm Lane into dying her hair purple (for a whole 30 minutes). 
Rory's application process to Harvard isn't as smooth sailing as she thought, after the admission panel unintentionally suggested that everything she did up to that point is LAME and BORIIIINNNGGGG! Lorelai, Emily and Paris join her on the panic train too.
Lorelai drags Luke back to high school for a "successful adults" talk, only to get grilled about her teen pregnancy in front of a class of judgmental teens.

Season 3 is here, and Gilmore Girls is already delivering drama in the best way. I’m covering episodes 1 and 2, where Rory returns from Washington just in time to see Jess tongue-wrestling with some random girl, since the “Dear Jess” letter were never sent. 
Lorelai’s dodging Kirk’s very earnest attempt to ask her out, and Christopher is back with more baby drama, and Emily’s meddling is in full force. 
On the bright side, Lorke/Lukalai finally made up and are friends again!

We made it to the Gilmore Girls season two finale! I’m covering episodes 21 and 22, and wow—these were a wild ride.
Lorelai graduates business school (yay!), but Rory ditches the ceremony to sneak off to New York for a surprise visit to Jess… and misses everything.
Meanwhile, Luke is not invited to Sookie’s wedding (rude!), Jess returns to town, and Rory seals the deal with a full-on kiss.
Over at the wedding, Lorelai and Christopher get romantic (finally!), but the moment shatters when he drops a baby bombshell—Sherry’s pregnant.

This week I’m covering Gilmore Girls season two, episodes 19 and 20—and oh boy, buckle up (literally). Rory ends up in a car accident and Lorelai goes full mama bear, blames Jess for everything short of global warming, and basically kicks him out of town with her rage alone. Goodbye, Jess. You were too punk for Stars Hollow.
Meanwhile, Rory’s the town’s golden child, so obviously nothing could’ve been her fault. Dean returns just in time to read Rory’s “So I Crashed the Car With Jess” letter, and he’s chill? Luke goes fishing, while the entire town acts like Jess was a teenage demon sent to destroy their precious Rory.

I'm talking about two episodes of Gilmore Girls this time—season two, episodes 17 and 18! Luke’s uncle dies and Lorelai basically takes over the diner while Luke plans a funeral that literally no one attends. Emily gives Sookie a lavish wedding fever, and Rory’s group project accidentally pulls Richard Gilmore out of retirement. Meanwhile, Dean is out here leaving 14 voicemails in two hours (!!) and by the end, even he knows: she likes Jess, doesn’t she? Oof.

This time I’m covering Gilmore Girls season two, episodes 15 and 16! Rory loses her bracelet from Dean (spoiler: Jess had it), Lorelai calls him out, and Luke decides to just buy his whole building and knock down walls—no big deal. Meanwhile, Lorelai and Emily try a spa weekend that ends with stolen robes, a silver fox, and some very awkward mother-daughter bonding.
Plus, Rory’s solo night turns into a full-blown showdown when Paris, Jess, and Dean all show up. The love triangle is heating up, and things are getting messy.

This week on Millennial Rewind, I'm diving into two very eventful episodes of Gilmore Girls—season two, episodes 13 and 14!
First up, the iconic Stars Hollow basket auction leads to chaos. Jess dramatically outbids Dean for Rory’s basket (for the equivalent of $168!), and emotions run high. Meanwhile, Jackson fails to buy Sookie’s basket, leading to a petty (and pricey) fallout that somehow ends in a surprise marriage proposal. 
Then in episode 14, Christopher shows up for Rory’s debate… with his new girlfriend, Sherry, in tow. Sherry’s eager to bond with Rory, leading to a surprise girls’ night—and a very frosty Friday night dinner where Emily loses it and tells Lorelai, “It should have been you.” Things hit a boiling point when Lorelai finally admits she’s always held out hope for a future with Christopher—but now that she’s seen him move on, she’s ready to let go. Christopher doesn’t take it well, and the episode ends with some serious emotional fallout.

With no bank willing to help and Lorelai refusing to ask her parents for money, the tensions between her and Rory are high. Then Richard spends a day in Stars Hollow and manages to judge everything—from Lorelai’s life to Dean’s homemade car gift. Meanwhile, Paris goes full investigative journalist, Lane becomes a cheerleader, and Jess continues his sneaky charm offensive. Did I mention Dean built and gifted Rory a whole car?!
